ROMOLA BIBLE CHURCH
THE POWER OF WORSHIP
I was a sinner! Sinking in sin! Then one day Jesus knocked on my heart's door and I opened the door and let Jesus in! Praise God! I am forgiven!! I am saved!!
Perhaps today you are a sinner who has not opened your heart's door to let Jesus in. Perhaps you've never heard about this before and don't understand or are not sure what it means to let Jesus into your heart to be forgiven and to be saved.
What does it mean to be FORGIVEN?
First of all you must believe that you are a sinner and that you need a savior. The Bible tells us in these verses about sinners:
We must open our hearts to Jesus and ask him to forgive us our sins. Christ died in our place. He died for our sins. Jesus Christ is the sinless only begotten Son of God! Yet He died for YOU and for ME!
He died in our place! Only Jesus can forgive sins. No one else can forgive us! He is our Savior!!!
John 14:6 - "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Acts 4:12 - "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Acts 16:31 - "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
How do you know you are SAVED? God says you are!!!
1 John 5:13 - "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
John 3:36 - "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
John 5:24 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
What does it mean to be SAVED?
Once we ask Jesus to come into our hearts and forgive us of our sins - we are SAVED! This Salvation is yours the moment you believe! Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ. That is the only way!
Prepare Now for Your Eternity!
1 John 5:11-12 - "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."
If you died tonight – where would you spend eternity? Heaven or Hell? Only you can choose.
If you choose God and Heaven – you can pray this prayer and ask Jesus to save you.
“Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner and need a Savior. I ask forgiveness of my sin and ask You to be my personal Savior. I am trusting in you and You alone for my salvation. I believe You suffered and died on the cross to pay the FULL price for MY sin and I believe you rose again from the grave and now stand at the right hand of God the Father. Thank you Jesus for saving me and giving me eternal life in heaven with you.”
If from a sincere heart you have prayed to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, it is now very important that you fellowship with a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that can teach you and help you to grow in your new life in Christ.
