IN TIMES LIKE THESE ~ WE NEED A SAVIOR
Do you feel like you are in a storm right now?
God always has a purpose for the storms and trials that He allows to come into our lives.
Sometimes it is the only way He can get our attention. GOD wants to use them for our good.
Storms last until a lesson is learned.
What we see as storms and stress, God sees as opportunities to make us strong and build up our faith. We will be better and stronger in faith if we trust Him and He is glorified.
Jesus prays for us while we are in our storms.
Hebrews 7:25b - "...seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."
Luke 22:32a ~ "But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not:"
Praise is Worship in our Storms!
Praise in our storms is saying -- "God I know you are too gracious to make a mistake, so I'll just trust you in this to see me through."
This is worship!
GOD NEVER MAKES MISTAKES!
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." ROMANS 8:28
Ponder the words from this familiar song...
"In Times Like These"
Music and Words by Ruth Caye Jones
"In times like these you need a Savior
In times like these you need an anchor;
Be very sure, be very sure,
Your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock!
This Rock is Jesus, Yes He's the One,
This Rock is Jesus, the only One;
Be very sure, be very sure,
Your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock!"
Is your anchor gripping the Solid Rock? Do you need a Savior?
If you died tonight ~ where would you spend eternity? Heaven or Hell? Only you can choose.
If you choose God and Heaven ~ you can pray this prayer and ask Jesus to save you.
"Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner and need a Savior. I ask forgiveness of my sin and ask You to be my personal Savior. I am trusting in you and You alone for my salvation. I believe You suffered and died on the cross to pay the FULL price for MY sin and I believe you rose again from the grave and now stand at the right hand of God the Father. Thank you Jesus for saving me and giving me eternal life in heaven with you."
If from a sincere heart you have prayed to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, it is now very important that you fellowship with a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that can teach you and help you to grow in your new life in Christ.
Hebrews 6:19 ~ "Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;"
2 Timothy 3:1 ~ "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come."
John 6:68 ~ "Then Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life."
Life has many choices. Eternity has two. What's yours?
